Xmas wishlist

1. Skethbook
2. Aritzia grunge floral leggings
3. Florence and the Machine Ceremonials cd
4.Betsey Johnson TooToo perfume
5. Keurig Mini Plus Brewer
6. Clip-in Hair Extensions

Kind of a random selection of stuff, but these are the only things I'm really interested in. The perfume I'm unsure of, and may be changed to another if I come across one, and the extensions will have to be dyed to match my hair.

Lash Accelerator vs Volume Accelerator

I would like to start by saying that I am a mascara junkie. I like to try a different one every time I've run out and need a new one. I have been using Rimmels Lash Accelerator for a few months now, and while I enjoy the length it gives to my lashes, it is volume that my lashes need. When I saw that Rimmel had a new version for volume, I ran to the store to pick it up.
I must say, I'm not a massive fan of the new packaging

Above: Lash Accelerator Volume
Below: Original Lash Accelerator
(both in extreme black)

First thing first, it does not give any volume whatsoever. The brush was extremely hard to work with, as I couldn't get a good enough grip for it to coat the lashes properly, leading to black blobs all over my brow bone. The lashes all stuck together in a goopy mess, and took forever to dry. Also, applying a second coat is nearly impossible as the brush will not glide through the lashes.
Left: Lash Accelerator Volume, Right: Original Lash Accelerator
Even if you are someone who enjoys the spider lash look, which I am, this just doesn't look nice. No one wants to look like they only have about 5 lashes. Big disappointment Rimmel.
Verdict- don't waste your money. Keep your ten dollars and buy something that does what it's supposed to.

Fairy Teal

My new favourite polish is Sally Hansens 'Fairy Teal' from the Complete Salon Manicure line. I applied two coats a few days ago, and am surprised at how well it has held up. As a stylist your hands are constantly being used and keeping pretty nails is almost impossible. A definite recommendation.

Niagara

At the beginning of the month, I went to Niagara Falls with a group of friends for a three day trip. I had a great time getting away from my tiny of a town for a bit, and getting together with some people I hadn't seen in forever. I didn't get a lot of pictures, but here a few of the falls.

A few albums that deserve a mention

Florence and the Machine 'Ceremonials'

Florence probably has one of the most distinctly beautiful voices ever. All songs are amazing, my favourite is probably 'No Light No Light' as I catch myself singing it several times throughout the day.
Young the Giant 'Young the Giant'

If you're into indie, i'm sure you'd already heard Young the Giants debut album. Every song is fantastic, a must listen if you haven't already.

The Paper Kites 'Woodland'

The Paper Kites are an indie/folk band from Australia. They have a mellow sound, great for relaxing to. My favourite is probably 'Willow Tree March'.

I am also going to mention  few songs that i've been loving lately.

Lonely Boy / The Black Keys
Listen / Dryer
Turn Me On / The Grates
Midwest / Grand Falconer
Thinking About You / Big Scary
Wicked Games - The Weeknd

Middle of the Bed - Lucy Rose
You Da One / Rihanna
Ride / Cary Brothers

People Help The People / Birdy

Hailey / Lydia
