NYC Sunny Bronzer

Everybody raves about this extremely affordable drugstore blush from NYC. I bought this over a year ago to try it out and was a little disappointed. Everyone claims it suits all skin tones and isnt too orangey on the skin. But I have too disagree. On my pale skin, this comes off very orange and if im not extremely careful, can give a dirty look to my cheek. Not attractive. Unfortunately, for whiteys like myself, I do not think this is a very good colour choice, but luckily it only cost me at $2.99 to figure out. I have still been using this with a very light hand, but will definitely be on the look out for a better suited colour for my complexion. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Annabelle Blush in Rosewood

From one of my favourite affordable brands, is the Annabelle blush in #18 Rosewood. It is a beautiful rosey pink shade that I think would look great on all skin tones. It is highly pigmented- just a tap of your brush and you have enough for one cheek. I think it would be great year round, as it gives a nice wake-me-up look to face and nice pop of colour. I definitely see this being a staple in my collection and would recommend it to anyone. Annabelle blushes are sold in drugstores for $7-8 canadian.

Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Liner

Eyeliner is one of my favourite makeup items. I started out with pencil years ago, discovered liquid and had been using it for years until recently, when I decided to venture  into the world of gel liners. I had heard many raves about the maybelline one, so I picked up the black one have been using it the past few months. It definitely requires a little more of a precise hand than my beloved liquid liner, but I have been enjoying the look it gives in comparison. It is slightly softer looking and has good colour pay off. Most importantly, it lasts throughout the day and isnt hard to remove at the end of the day. Also, I see this pot lasting longer than pencil or liquid products would. An A+ product in my opinion.
What are your favourite liners, id love to hear your input.

La Roche-Posay Hydreane Legere

Another La Roche Posay product ive been using is their Hydreane Legere, light moisturizing facial cream. I have been enjoying using this at night, as its still quite hot weather and applying heavy creams at night any time other than the winter is one, not necessary for my skin, and two, too much of a pain in the you know what to wait to sink in. I love this because like it says, is light. It sinks in quickly and leaves my skin nice and smooth. It has a very light scent that I cant describe, but I cant imagine it being a problem for anyone.

My only complaint about this is the size. A 40ml tube is awfully small in my opinion for the price, seeming to me as what would be a sample or travel size. However, a little goes a long way and I suppose it will last a sufficient amount of time, I just wish they had a larger size as well. Overall Ive been enjoying this and may try the Hydreane Riche in the colder months.
