Sigma F80

Many have talked and raved about Sigma brushes and I completely understand why. They are extremely affordable for high quality brushes. They are super soft and I have had no problems with shedding.

My favourite of the few I have would definitely have to be the F80 Flattop Kabuki. I was typically someone who applied their foundation with their hands. I have tried the traditional foundation brush, not from Sigma however, and found it difficult to work with. But when I saw many people raving about the F80 I had to give it a try. And am I ever gad I did! It applies my foundation quickly and beautifully; instantly it became a favourite. I found that my makeup had a much nicer appearance than it normally would if I had just used my fingers. Overall I would give this brush a 5/5. A definite recommendation to anyone.

Visit Sigmas website and take a look at their wide selection of brushes and collections if you're interested. Also, with purchases over $30 you get a free mini E25 blending brush like above!

What are you favourite Sigma brushes?

Vintage Pink

I picked this up a few weeks ago and it instantly became a new favourite. The colours a very mauve toned pink which I wasnt sure was going to suit my skin tone or go well with my hair colour, but to my surprise I love it! I wore it out to dinner the other night and think its a beautiful colour that is very easy to wear, day or night. I also love the formula of these lipsticks because they're super creamy, and being winter time matte lipsticks just dont look very attractive on my poor dry lips.

You use your heart as a weapon, and it hurts like heaven

Loving peachy coral lips, even though im not quite sure on how well I pull it off. Here im wearing Mac's Dressmaker, Dressmaker from the Pret a papier collection. I bought it off of allcosmeticswholesale a few months back and it tends to get neglected. Also getting neglected, is this shirt my mum bought me years ago from H&M. I dont know why, but its always been one of those pieces that hangs in your closet and never really gets worn, yet you cant bear to give it away because maybe one youll want it. I do really like the shirt actually, its quite different from any others that I own. I will be sure to get more use out of both of these in the near future.

Revlon Lip Butters

I have had these about two months now, and was planning on getting more so was delaying this blog post. However, that still hasnt happened so I figured id just go ahead and show the ones I have. The four I picked up were colours I thought would suit my skintone/hair. With that being said, I dont see myself getting the purple anytime in the future. The four I got were creme brulee- a brown nude, berry smoothie- a raspberry pink, pink truffle- a mauvey brown, and cherry tart- a cherry red (this one didnt photograph well for some reason)

I’m wonderstruck, blushing all the way home - Taylor Swift Perfume

As you would of seen in my what I got for xmas post, I got the Taylor Swift Wonderstruck perfume that I am absolutely in love with. The bottle is a beaut, a purpley blue with three charms hanging from the neck. The scent is a blend of vibrant fruits and vanilla, which may not be everyones cup of tea, but as someone who likes warm fruity smells, I'm a total fan.

The top notes are raspberry, dewberry, green tea, freesia and apple blossom. The heart features sweet vanilla along with sun drenched honeysuckle and white hibiscus. Notes of golden amber, musk, sandalwood and peach are in the base.

The perfume wears very well. By the end of the day I can still smell it on myself which is a pleasant surprise. With some perfumes, with a few hours of wear I feel like scrubbing my skin off because it is all I can smell and gives me a headache. However I dont have that problem with Wonderstuck. The scent isnt strong and overwhelming which I really like. Overall, I'm very happy.

The perfume comes in three sizes, a 0.33oz rollerball, 1.7oz or 3.4oz bottle pricing from $18-60 according to Sephora.
